Terms and Conditions

Rules:

  • Drop kick position: 35m or further – to the right of the 15m line.
  • Drop kick position to be marked and contestants are not allowed to step outside the marked square.
  • The marker will be a square measured 3m by 3m (marked right of the 15m line).
  • Spectators must register via a QR Code to be put into the draw. 
  • Contestants will be drawn randomly by Synergi, a division of the NMH group.
  • The 10 x contestants will be drawn randomly to determine the sequence of the kicks
  • A selected spectator is not allowed to give another party his/her entry/ opportunity to kick, only the person registered to that mobile number will be allowed to participate.
  • No professional rugby players are permitted to partake in the competition.
  • Once the contestant enters the marked block, the contestants will only have 15 seconds to drop kick the ball.
  • There is only one prize up for grabs, thus when the 1st contestant converts a kick successfully, the competition will end.
  • Only 1 attempt at a drop kick will be allowed per contestant.
  • Competitions start at 09:00 and close at the kick-off of the main rugby fixture on 04 June 2022.
  • Judges decision is final.
  • Should you be a finalist, you will be contacted via a telephone call from 081 211 5973.
  • You will only be phoned twice. If not answered you will lose your spot as a top 10 finalist.
  • Judges decision is final.
  • Once called, you will have 5 minutes to report to the tunnel at the main pavilion.
